Vile Parle East is a locality in the northern part of Mumbai. It is one of the well developed area of Mumbai. The name derives from two temples Virleshwar and Parleshwar. Other nearby railway stations are santacruz, Andheri, Western Express Highway, Chakala, and Khar.
