No, this does not mean we sell vans – but we do sell OFF the van…..and we do it well! There is nothing better than selling in a product and being able to get it on sale immediately so our teams will carry stock (& POS) on the van and make and sale and merchandise it before leaving. We can hit huge numbers nationally over a relatively short time – we’ve done ambient products, alcohol, Ice Cream in Freezer vans and chilled products too.This gives our clients INSTANT volume, share and visibility – it could be linked to TV advertising, but equally it could be as spoiling tactics for a competitor launch.
We have our Televate team who can provide a cost-effective contact to do anything from gather data, take an order, or just a customer service call. This can be instead of a face to face visit or in conjunction as part of a cleansing/validation process.
AUDITING & MYSTERY SHOPPING
We have experienced Field Auditors & Mystery Auditors who can check how your product is being represented & presented or not as the case may be. This can be linked to re-training programs or rewards for either product knowledge, customer service or recommendation.
We know that our clients often pay huge gate fees to run a promotion or new product listing and we can check that what you paid for is what you got. This can be from taking photos of non-compliance, through to recording an alternative location and even work with the store staff to rectify delinquent stores. A prompt final report can furnish your Account Managers with accurate data by store and evidence to allow Head Office discussions to take place.
We have a lot of talented sales people in our Field team who love nothing more than to hit targets. This can be through a number of approaches – direct sales in shopping centres or consumer shows, taking a transfer order from a retailer or pub that is transmitted to the approved wholesaler or just a consultative sell where we make a professional presentation with a compelling call to action via their own sales order system or purchasing from a Cash & Carry. We can also have someone in a Cash & Carry approaching retailers as they shop.
As you will see further down our website in our key numbers, we handled & placed over 160,000 items in the last year. This is from walking in cardboard shippers that we assemble & merchandise, to shelf trays, permanent trays, barkers, wobblers through to permanent POS items too. In our warehouse we can consolidate numerous items by store and field staff to ensure maximum efficiency.
We have also handled the reverse where we have removed inappropriate POS items from store, returned to our warehouse and securely destroyed.
STORAGE & DISTRIBUTION
As we highlighted in the POS section, our warehouse takes receipt, stores, picks, packs & dispatches a phenomenal amount (160,000+) of POS over a year and this is growing week on week. We have efficient consolidation processes and can recycle unused POS but also liaise directly with printers to ensure deadlines on delivery and in-store dates are met.We also handle permanent POS, from metal counter units to building & installing full-size chillers and deliver direct to store or our field team via Courier or dedicated vehicles.
CHECK & FIX
We call in the High Street & Grocery Multiples every week and the way to maintain a high level of visibility, availability and sales is to have a sustained program of checking that POS/Promotions/Stock is where it is supposed to be when it is supposed to be. But it is more than an audit – if it’s not there, then we do everything we can to FIX it! This could mean getting more stock from the warehouse, it could mean seeing a manager to get the promotion live.
