    ITPL Road, which is situated in Whitefield, is 18km away from the centre of Bangalore. ITPL i.e. International Tech Park is the oldest tech park of Bangalore that was built in 1994 as a joint venture between India and Singapore. The neighbouring localities are Hoodi, Doddanekundi, Mahadevapura, Kadugodi, and Chinnapanahalli.

    The Whitefield cluster being abundant with IT offices and tech parks, this area enjoys good connectivity with rest of the city.

    BMTC buses ply to the almost all the areas of Bangalore such as Kengeri, Bommanahalli, Hoskote, Nelamangala, Devanahalli and Dasarahalli.

    The nearest Railway Station is Krishnarajapuram (KR Puram) at a distance of 9km while the Bangalore City Railway Junction is 19km away via Old Madras Road (OMR).

    The international airport is situated at a distance of about 46km.

    Due to the presence of numerous IT establishments in and around ITPL Road, the real estate in this region is much sought after by the IT employees who wants to stay closer to their workplace. As per the proposed second phase of Bangalore Metro Rail Project, the Baiyappanahalli will be extended to ITPL-Whitefield, thereby increasing the real estate growth prospects of the region.

    Major Challenges

    The challenges faced by residents along this stretch are potholed roads and badly lit street lights. Recently, the menace of stray dogs has also come into light.
